TCL needed copy for a range of new devices to appear in various product catalogues. They wanted the descriptions to be consistent but not repetitive, covering each product’s unique features & benefits in just a couple of paragraphs.

The original site was extremely bare-bones – just a single landing page with a few short sentences – so it needed a complete overhaul to properly explain the app’s benefits and get people to try it for themselves.

I played a key role in the press campaign for the Jeddah regatta of the 37th America’s Cup. Oversaw the development of press materials from start to finish, filling in my (many) gaps in knowledge by interviewing key figures in the event.

Road To Gold /// online training program
I write the copy & handle growth strategy for Road To Gold, an online program put together by one of the world’s top sailing coaches. The company’s #1 mission is to give competitive sailors the skills they need to climb the leaderboard systematically and predictably. Our main target market is athletes aiming for the Olympics, but we also help more casual ‘weekend warriors’ too.
As somebody who’s gone sailing twice in their life, it was a challenge putting myself in the shoes of an Olympic sailor… But with enough audience insights (thank you surveys!) we made the marketing campaign a big success.
